About Xiamen

Xiamen lies on China's southeastern coast, covering a total area of 1,565 km2 with a population of 2.04 million. Xiamen is the ancestral home of numerous overseas Chinese and Taiwanese compatriots, the traditional port for external trade, and one of China's first special economic zones.
